Leading Ladies - Leah Ryan

It all begins with an idea.

Welcome to our first edition of our upgraded Leading Ladies Spotlight! We are going to start by introducing you to our Founder, Leah Ryan.

Q: Tell us a little about yourself!
(Where you’re from, what lights you up, anything fun we should know.)

A: I am a born and raised Colorado girl, but not a very typical one! I was born in Denver and went to High School in Aurora at Smoky Hill High School. I started working in the Real Estate Industry in 1999 and have been in it ever since! I started throwing fun “shopping events” in 2007 to support local businesses and my passion for doing so has only grown more and more over the years. I started co-hosting networking events in 2012 and formed Denver Housewives in 2016! I have personally thrown and organized over 100 events in the last 8 years to bring these different communities together.

I am also the President of a local Non-Profit called Be The Good Ones, where we help people in our community with Small Needs and Good Deeds. In addition to Denver Housewives, my Mortgage Career and Be The Good Ones… I took over my Mom’s Green Chile business when she passed away in 2023. Ele’s Sooo Good is keeping her legacy alive.

Q: What is your business or passion project, and what inspired you to start it?
(Give us the “aha” moment or the journey that led you here.)

A:

Q: What was the biggest challenge you faced in getting started?
(And how did you push through?)

A:

Q: What does a “day in the life” look like for you right now?
(We love the behind-the-scenes stuff!)

A:

Q: What’s been your proudest moment so far on this journey?
(That milestone or memory that really sticks with you.)

A:

Q: How do you stay motivated when things get tough?
(Any mindset tricks, rituals, or routines?)

A:

Q: What’s one thing you wish more people knew about your business or industry?
(Set the record straight or share something unexpected.)

A:

Q: Have you had any mentors, role models, or support systems that made a big impact?
(Who helped lift you up?)

A:

Q: What advice would you give to another woman who’s thinking about starting something of her own?
(The kind of advice you wish you’d gotten.)

A:

Q: How do you balance business, life, and everything in between?
(Let’s talk real-life juggling acts.)

A:

Q: What’s next for you and your business?
(Any exciting plans, dreams, or goals in the works?)

A:

Q: Where can people connect with you or support your work?
(Drop those handles, websites, and must-follow links!)

Blog Post Title Three

It all begins with an idea.

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.

Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.
